"Vocal lessons" are popping up everywere. Michael (thanks, Dave) cites five principles for corporate bloggers to use while finding their voice:
- Stop and think
- Use your loaf
- You can disclaim but you can't hide
- Keep it real
- Respect the channels
Here's the thing for me: when you're just starting out taking vocal lessons, it's important to sing the right kinds of songs. There's a reason sopranos don't sing the most difficult role early in their careers.
Given the dangers involved in the uncharted territory of corporate blogging, Michael's principles sound to me like good advice.
