I must say, images like these unnerve me to the core.
One moment: a tranquil moment in paradise by the sea.
The next: unimaginable horror sweeps over the scene.
Finally: all is returned to its previous state, except thousands are lost and millions will never be the same.
How is it possible for us to elevate our existence to the heights we do, when its fragility is as evident as these events show it to be? What possesses us to imagine the things we do?
