Karen, my wife, and I leave tomorrow morning for ten glorious days in Hawaii. We'll be on the Big Island, exploring volcanos, botanical gardens, coffee plantations and loads of sun/sand. We've never been there before and are pretty excited about the trip.
It's currently 9.1 degrees Fahrenheit in lovely Stamford, Connecticut and (one moment please) 80 degrees in Kona. That's a big difference.
Not sure about web access, so blogging may be sporadic. I'm sure you'll all find ways to entertain yourselves in my absence.

I will try not to be too bitter with envy. Have a wonderful trip! Aloha.

How wonderful - don't even think about blogging - time to disconnect so as to connect.

WiFi at Honolulu airport...how civilized!
Thanks for the good wishes, especially from you, Raymond! Good to hear from you.
BTW, if you've never flown to Hawaii, here's some information: it's very far from New York!
