What A Day!

Man! One of those days when you're caught in the digital slipstream and everything takes more time than you expect.

My PowerBook did something really weird last week, and I've been trying to recover from it ever since. This morning, I had the 10:00 AM Genius Bar appointment at the Westchester Mall Apple Store and got straightened out...at least, I thought I did. By the time I got drivers reinstalled, printers set up, all software working right, and so on (still don't have my Tungsten T syncing right) the day was gone. GRRR!!

Anyway, if I had time to do so today, I would have written about Doc Searls' terrific wrap-up Keynote at Syndicate. But, since I didn't, I'll have to do so tomorrow. Suffice it to say that I had a chance to spend some time with Doc and Steve Gillmor the other evening, and it was terrific. Doc's every bit as easygoing and genuine as you'd expect; Steve, every bit as intense and passionate. Here's a photo of the two of them, mugging a bit, at Syndicate.
