Like the Dead asked, "where does the time go?" Friday, already.
OK, then, I'll give y'all this Foto this week.
Last week in this space I wrote about anger, death and frustration. This week, thought I'd share an antidote to all that existential angst.
Ready?
Here goes:
That's my grandson, Benny. Isn't that the most amazing smile? You ought to hear him laugh.
I'm starting to think of him as a "joy machine," 'cause he just creates joy everywhere he goes. People on the street, in museums or restaurants, can't take their eyes off him.
Oh, did I mention he's a bit of a ham?
I'm beginning to develop a bit of a Ben-o-Meter. If someone looks at Benny for more than 10 seconds and doesn't smile, I start to worry about them. If they do so for a minute or more, I figure they're a lost cause and move on.
Sartre once wrote that hell is other people.
Jean-Paul never met Benny.
Have a great Independence Day holiday!

Hi Tom: Took me about 1 second. That laugh you mention... time for a podcast I reckon.

Blaug...ain't that the truth?
Mike: I think you've just come up with a great tag line for this little fella! "Benny: I Got The Juice!"
Johnnie: No surprise that you scored high on the Ben-o-Meter...a podcast with him would be a hoot!

The moment I saw Bennie, I burst out laughing, even before I read your post. Look at all those toofies. I'm so looking forward to meeting him in a couple of weeks. I have lots of presents for him. I'll be the GREAT Auntie Ann!
